Natural Care Recipes During Pregnancy

Homemade natural care products can be a safe choice during pregnancy as they are both budget-friendly and provide full control over ingredients. However, natural ingredients can also cause allergic reactions — testing a new ingredient on a small area first is a good idea.

Face masks: Oatmeal + honey + yogurt mask can be moisturizing and soothing for sensitive pregnancy skin. Avocado mask (half avocado + one tablespoon olive oil) can be very nourishing for dry skin. Cucumber slices can help with eye area puffiness. Can be applied 1-2 times per week.

Body scrub: Coffee grounds + coconut oil mixture can support blood circulation. Sugar + olive oil can be used as a gentle body scrub. If you'd like to add an essential oil such as lavender, it's safer to dilute it well and avoid it in the first trimester; if unsure, ask your doctor. Not recommended for face application — it can be too harsh for facial skin.

Hair care: Coconut oil hair mask (apply to ends and wait 30 minutes) can nourish hair. Apple cider vinegar rinse (1 tablespoon vinegar + 1 glass water) can add shine. These natural rituals are a beautiful way to take care of yourself and create those relaxing moments.
