Taking Time for Yourself During Pregnancy Guide
Self-care rituals, relaxation, and pampering ideas.

It's very easy to neglect yourself while focusing on the baby throughout pregnancy. But we want to remind you: Taking care of yourself is not selfish — a happy and healthy mother is the best gift for her baby. Self-care encompasses physical, emotional, and social dimensions.
Physical self-care: You can enjoy a warm bath once or twice a week (not too hot), get a pregnancy massage from a certified therapist, maintain your hair and nail care, and wear comfortable maternity clothes that make you feel good. These may seem like small things but they can be wonderful for your spirit.
Emotional self-care: You can set aside 15 minutes a day of "just my time" — a book, music, sitting in nature. Keeping a pregnancy journal, writing letters to your baby, having photos taken make this period lasting. Being able to say "no" is also a form of self-care — you don't have to attend every invitation.
Social self-care: You can continue spending time with friends. Pregnancy yoga or exercise groups are a wonderful way to connect with women going through similar stages. Preserving quality time spent with your partner during this period is also valuable. You can choose to stay away from negative content in online communities.
