Weekly Pregnancy Quiz

3 new questions every Monday. And every week your baby is the size of something new.

This week's fun

New questions every Monday. And each week your baby is the size of something new.

Quiz of the week
Birth DayThe sky and calendar on your due date

This week's fun comes in two parts. The first is a short quiz: 3 questions about pregnancy, how your baby grows in the womb and newborn care. After each answer you read a short explanation, so you learn something new while you play. The questions change every Monday.

The second is a playful size comparison. From week 4 to week 40 of pregnancy it describes your baby's approximate size with a familiar everyday object: a Lego brick, a matchbox, a teddy bear. These are rough comparisons; for real measurements and that week's development, see the week-by-week page.

What you can do

  • Take a 3-question pregnancy and baby quiz that changes every Monday.
  • Read a short explanation of the right answer after each question.
  • Pick your week to see what your baby is about the size of.
  • Share your score with your partner and friends.

How to use it

  1. Pick your week, or sign in; if you're pregnant, your week fills in.
  2. Answer the 3 quiz questions and read the explanations.
  3. See your score, share it and come back on Monday for new questions.

Frequently asked questions

How often do the questions change?

The questions change every Monday. There are 30 questions in the pool and 3 come up in turn each week. If your baby has arrived and you're signed in, questions only about pregnancy are left out.

Are the size comparisons real measurements?

No, they're rough and playful comparisons. Babies can be different sizes even in the same week. For average length and weight, see the week-by-week page, and for your own baby, your ultrasound measurements.

Where is my score saved?

This week's result is saved in this browser, so you'll see your score when you open the page again. No account details are needed.

Can I trust the facts in the questions?

The questions are based on widely accepted medical facts, but they're for general information. For questions about your own pregnancy or baby, ask your doctor or midwife.
